I beyond totally love this smile on his face. Brian may not be the best father on earth, but 90% of the time he tries to be the best. He's my best friend, I know he's the best friend his children could ask for. He's got a great heart. I just really love him, wish I had met him years ago, but not sure I could have appreciated him as much if I had. It's all about God's timing.

06.07.12 Preparing for the Big Birthday Party
This is a special birthday for Annemarie, not really the age, she is turning 7. But 18 months ago her Daddy and mother separated for good. Last year was a really rough year for her. I started dating her Daddy in August and her sister's birthday was in September. Her Daddy was invited to her own party but not invited to her sister's party now that he's dating, (side note: it's only ok for the mother to have her boyfriend around since the day she kicked Daddy out!). So, her sister got a birthday party at our house, which meant she got 2 parties, Annemarie was barely 6 then and did understand, but when her birthday rolled around she sure remembered it. lol So this birthday party had to be good. We did the party early so she could invite her school mates before school ended (side note: even the 9 1/2 year old sister calls unfair! lol). To ensure a little extra special, I made her her very own small cake, like a 1 year old gets. She loved it.

I can't remember the name of this roller coaster, but I do remember that it's 305 feet in the air and almost a complete 80 degree angle down. No freaking freaking way!

05.24.12 - Sore Leg!
Well, those rocks look like that are great to be jumping, leaping and having fun on, but I was wrong! This is the spot where I fell, I face and body planted into the rock I'm sitting on. And my foot got lodged under the small rock there. At the time only my toe hurt bad, but by Wednesday my leg was hurting bad and the bruises had come out. Thursday, I decided to ride my motorcycle to work, the vibration was horrible and killed my leg! Horrible.
I discovered I'm 49 1/2 not 9 1/2, but will I do it again, you betcha!

05.20.12 - The End to Really Good Weekend
This was the best weekend with the girls. It was sad taking them home. Lil B didn't wanna go home and she cried when being dropped off. We explained to her that it would only be for 5 days and then there was going to be a huge surprise for them on Friday! She yelled back at us "It's going to be 5 days of HELL!" I hate that, I really don't know what is going on in that house, but when a 9 year old tells me that, something is not right. Ugh! We can't afford a lawyer to get custody of them, and worse yet, she would qualify for Legal Aid and get a Lawyer! It's horrible!
Like everything else we just have to leave it in God's hands and pray that he keeps the girls safe.

Watching his girl play in the river. He's a Bear's fan, but hey he can't be everything! lol No one is perfect. Sometimes just watching people and watch people, you can find peace in their peacefulness. I'm a lucky woman to have such a wonderful man in my life!
